So, sadly, this is the end of g7. With the extremely long time it took the the Urban Terror development team to come out with the new version (which is really good) the leagues started to dwindle as did player participation.
All said, Urban Terror slowly bled out losing some of the oldest clans while people consolidated into newer ones or moved on to new games. g7 was one of those clans that lost player interest in league play and slowly dissolved.
It was a great time, with tons of great people playing with us over the years. While our win/loss record wasn't the best, we did manage to beat every clan at least once, something all previous g7 clan members should be proud of.
I will try to open the site to the public, allowing them to see the tools we had and used as an archive of our time well spent. I'd like to thank everyone that played with us, especially dragnfly for taking over as clan leader while I lost a motherboard and main HDD...and, as with others, lost interest in competition.
So again, thank you all for the good times...and you never know, we might come back ;¬)
Tonight we signed up the newest g7 members Captain_Kaboom and Solitary. Because we have added so many players recently, I am going to stop recruiting in order to give us all a chance to adjust and absorb.
Since a lot of the strategy involves running with partners/groups, I want everyone to show up for matches, practices, & scrims so that we can starting solidifying our teamwork. even with a longer roster, WE STILL NEED YOU.
For those of you I hardly ever talk to or play with, please give me an update on how things are going... for anyone who isn't a fan of irc, please feel free to email me or even "shoutout" on the website. if you are having schedule conflicts and can't show up for practices or matches, i'd like to know before i start considering you an inactive member of the clan.
